To renovate a leather sofa which has suffered from humidity and shows traces of mould even after cleaning, Valmour recommends to proceed in 2 steps :

1- To begin with, clean the mouldy areas with Leather Cleaner Renomat Saphir to disinfect the leather. Apply this product with a Cloth .This steps allows to recuperate the leather by destroying the fungi.

2- Afterwards, continue with a classical maintenance procedure to embellish the leather and give back to it its suppleness and shine :

  • Clean you leather thoroughly with Cleaning Regenerating Soap to eliminate any dirt and   to open the leather pores.
  • if it is discoloured, apply Pigmenting Cream AVEL and its Pigmenting Cream Fixing Liquid AVEL for in-depth re-pigmentation.
  • if there is no discoloration, use Renovating Balm Liquid or Cream Renovator in the matching colour shade or in neutral for appropriate care.

These products do not contain any greases, the use of which is prohibited because they nourish fungi.
