Water splashes on leather often result in dark stains which won't dissapear when drying. This reaction depends on the type of leather, its finish, the quality of its pigmentation and also on the fixing of the colour.
Valmour recommends to start with a thorough cleaning with Cleaning Regenarating Soap AVEL. Apply with the help of a humid sponge, which should result in the fading of the stains. Afterwards it is advisable to nourish the leather with one of the nourishing balms, some of which have a light dyeing effect:
