Cleaning of an eggshell-colored leather sofa with Cleaning Regenerating Soap.
Sometimes it is difficult to imagine how much dirt and grime can accumulate on leather sofas or armchairs. To prepare the leather for renovation or simply for a regular cleaning, use Cleaning Regenerating Soap AVEL. On the photo above, it helped eliminate several layers of not very efficient maintenance products as well as dirt (right seat) to get back to the original colour (left seat).
To eliminate sebum deposit on head-and armrests, use Stain Remover HUSSARD Spray Leather and Textiles.
Remarks :
- Cleaning Regenerating Soap AVEL cleans dirty and grime-coated leathers. It removes successive layers of wax and gives back the leather's original appearance. It is as necessary as washing your hands before applying a cream.
- To apply before using Pigmenting Cream AVEL or the Renovating Products. It opens the pores of the leather and facilitates the penetration of colour pigments.
- Afterwards thoroughly nourish the leather with one of the renovating products :
1- Liquid Renovating Balm AVEL cleans, nourishes, protects but also re-colours. Available in 18 shades. Its presentation makes it the product most easy to use. Recommended for new leather without scratches and/or only small discolorations.
2- Cream Renovator AVEL cleans, nourishes, protects, and re-colours. Available in 20 shades. Product with the strongest re-colouring power, because it contains a high concentation of pigments and waxes (to help fill up scratches in the best way) . Recommended for leather aged between 5-15 years starting to show scratches and discolourations.
3- Renovating Balm Paste AVEL cleans, nourishes and protects. Available in neutral only. High wax content, adapted for shiny leather.
4- Leather Care Wax Spray AVEL cleans and nourishes. The spray is very practical for braided or perforated leather.
These products can be easily applied with a Polishing Cloth or even better with Cotton Stock Louis XIII, while protecting your hands with the Black Nitrile Rubber Gloves.
