Start by removing the non-adherent parts of the varnish, especially the parts that are flaking.

Then, in order to remove the residual varnish that is still well attached, use the DECAPBIO 2 Valmour Gel Stripper

Apply the stripper by dabbing the varnish, let it work and then remove the varnish with the Putty Knife. Be very careful not to scratch the marble by removing the varnish with a spatula!

This DECPABIO 2 Valmour Gel Stripper removes most existing varnishes, even old ones. However, if some parts resist, it is necessary to complete the action of the stripper with a mechanical action such as sanding with a suitable disc.

Then finish with our Marble Polisher Louis XIII and its Varnish Pad Louis XIII in order to eliminate micro scratches and polish without scratching.

You can then protect and embellish your marble with SODERSOL's Terrazo Sealer Water Repellent by choosing the yellow formula designed for low porosity marble.
