The treatments depends on the state of the leather after burning.

1- If the leather has not been perforated right through
We recommend to gently scratch the burned area with the help of a cutting blade like the one of our Maxi Gratte AVEL .

Then sand finely with the Finely Grained Pumice Block VALMOUR to achieve a smooth surface.Afterwards, use Polish Renovating Cream SAPHIR® to cover and fill in if necessary the burned area. This cream is a resin elaborated with fast-drying colour pigments, which will form a solid layer in the colour of your leather. Renovating cream  is available in more than 40 colours which can be mixed together.

2- If the leather has been perforated:
Start by sliding a small piece of leather (identical if possible) under the burned area, of a superior size than this area. Glue it on with the help of Leather Glue Valmour and let dry.
Afterwards, proceed as mentioned above to cover and fill up the burned area with Renovating Cream. This cream is a resin elaborated with fast-drying colour pigments, which will form a solid layer in the colour of your leather. Renovating Cream is available in more than 40 colours which can be mixed together.
