Once you have succeded in glazing your shoes shoes, it is not necessary to re-glaze each time you care for your shoes. Depending on the condition of the glazing, it can be reactivated.
For instructions how to proceed we direct you towards the advice given by Jeremy ESTELRICH and Mathieu DEVOIR (the cofounders of DEVOIRDECOURT).

- If your glazing shows large tears or scratches, in short if it is really badly worn, or if you want to eliminate it :
. Start by eliminating the superficial part with Leather Cleaner Renomat Saphir, which will clean in-depth without damaging the leather.
If necessary, it is possible to use a Brass Brush Suede Nubuck Médaille d'Or with moderation to eliminate the superficial altered layer of the glazing without touching the deeper part where the leather is saturated with wax.
. Afterwards, the glazing can be rapidly reactivated with the help of MIRROR GLOSS Saphir Médaille d'Or and a Polishing Cloth humidified with water from a Water Drop Dispenser.

- If the glazing is only lightly damaged on the surface :
. begin by retreating the surface with a Stocking for Glazing Maintenance.
. Afterwards, rapidly reactivate the glazing with the help of MIRROR GLOSS Saphir Médaille d'Or and a Polishing Cloth humidified with water from a Water Drop Dispenser.
