It is possible to change the colour of your suede leather clothes, but always from a light to a dark colour.
Valmour recommends to proceed in 4 steps :

1- Step 1 :To begin with, thoroughly clean the leather and remove all stains. For in-depth cleaning use Cleaner Suede Nubuck OMNIDAIM Saphir  which can be easily applied with the help of a Brush and tepid water.
If the collar or the wrists are stained with sebum, begin by eliminating these traces with Stain Remover Hussard Leather and Textile Spray.

2- Step 2 : Afterwards it is possible to change the colour of your article of leather clothing. Valmour recommends the use of Teinture Française Aux Drapeaux Liquid Dye. Easy application by Brush
If your velvety leather (suede or nubuck) absorbs the dye too fast to permit a uniform application, it is possible to use a spray gun or a 2 L Duster.
Test on a hidden part and check the absence of colour discharge with a cloth when dry (3 hours) .

3-  Step 3 : To prevent the drying out of Suede leather under the effect of the dye and to restore the pile, we recommend to brush it with the Cleaning Sponge Suede Nubuck SAPHIR.

4- Finishing :Finally, waterproof your article of clothing with Super Invulner Médaille d'Or to protect it. If you want to reinforce the colour obtained ( black for example) this step can also be done with the Rénovétine SAPHIR. In case of colour discharge after these operations, use the Stop Color Saphir.

We always recommend to test before on a hidden part.
