One pair of insoles 100% bovine leather, chosen for its hard-wearing qualities. Vegetal tanning.
- The natural manufacturing process for these insoles has not changed since the Egyptians developed it. Dating back to ancient Egypt, this vegetal tanning technique transforms a raw skin into a supple, strong and rotproof material called "leather" by soaking the skins in containers with tannins extracted from oak, birch, willow, mimosa...bark or exotic wood bark which adds resistance against parasites.
- This tanning process makes leather more resistant to parasites and gives it a more alive appearance as well as its pleasent leather smell. During its long life the leather will acquire an elegant patina and provide a particularly hygienic comfort.
