Renovating Mouldy Leather Goods


To make leather goods usable again which have suffered from humidity and show traces of mould even after cleaning, Valmour recommends to proceed in 2 steps :

1- First, clean your leather with the Renomat which cleans, takes off stains and disinfects. This steps allows to recuperate the leather by destroying the fungi, before renovation.

2- If your bag or object is made of smooth leather and shows no discolouration, use a product for usual leather care by consulting the following advice card : "Taking Care of a Leather Bag". If your bag or object is made of oiled leather, apply Cream Shoe Polish Greasy Leather Saphir to give it back its silky aspect.

3- For discoloured leather, use Juvacuir . This renovating product allows you to embellish and re-pigment your leather. This product does not contain any greases, which are to be avoided because they nourish fungi.
