The cleaning of leather subjected to the permanent rubbing of hands requires particular products. In the long run, these leather surfaces become dirty, greasy and even sticky.
Valmour recommends the following steps (see photos):
- Photo nr.1 : Begin by treating your steering wheel with Stain Remover HUSSARD Spray Leather and Textile to eliminate the impregnated fatty stains. Just spray the product onto the leather (if possible remove the wheel or protect the dashboard), let it work for 2 hours and then eliminate the white powder which has developed.
- Photos nr.2 : To prevent the dust to settle everywhere inside the car, begin by using your vacuum cleaner to eliminate the dust and finish by brushing with the Oval Horsehair Brush Saphir.
- Photo nr.3 : Continue by eliminating any residue of the product and the dirt with Leather Cleaner Renomat Saphir, which you apply with the large Spreading Brush Saphir (the most practical).
Once your steering wheel is clean, greaseless and perfectly dry, care for your it to give it back a nice appearance and to protect it.
- Photo nr.4 : nourrish the leather of your steering wheel.
If the leather is lightly discoloured, use Juvacuir Saphir.
If the discolorations ar not too important, use the Renovator Shoe Polish Saphir (small conditioning) or Renovating Balm AVEL Liquid AVEL if you want to care fore the seats at the same time ( large conditioning).
- Photo nr.5 : Finally, finish by giving the leather of your steering wheel a nive shine and appearance with the Shining Glove Valmour made of 100% shabrack sheep skin and eliminate surplus wax particles at the same time.
