Recommended for rustic panellings and all wood types with a pronounced grain (oak, chestnut...), a white -leaded finish permits to make the wood grain stand out by filling the hollows with white wax.

Proceed according to the following 3 steps:

1- Base preparation : to increase the effect of white-leading, brush the wood in the sense of the grain with the Steel Brass Brush LOUIS XIII.
The wood can be left natural or tinted with Woodwork Stain, Nut Husk or Oak Aging LOUIS XIII. You can also use bright or pastel colours. With an interval of 4 hours minimum, apply 2 coats of Insulating Wood Finish LOUIS XIII with the help of Cottonstock LOUIS XIII. Let dry for 8 hours. Lightly finish with Steel Wool LOUIS XIII N° 0000.

2- Decoration : Apply White Ceruse Wax LOUIS XIII with Cottonstock LOUIS XIII, while insisting on filling up the hollows of the wood grain. Leave only the minimum of wax on the surface, which will need to be removed after drying (1 hour).

3- Finish : Apply a coat of De Luxe Wax Polish LOUIS XIII Paste. Allow to dry for 10 minutes, then shine with a wool cloth.
