Finish recommended for rustic furniture made of clear or dark wood and all wood types with a pronounced grain (oak, chestnut etc..). It fills the wood pores, livens up the grain and gives a nice shine. To enhance the wood shade, apply Woodwork  Stain LOUIS XIII or Nut Husk LOUIS XIII before.

Proceed according to the following 2 steps:

1- Base preparation :

Apply a generous coat of Special Wax Paste with Pore Filler LOUIS XIII to the wood, then add  Pumice Powder LOUIS XIII on top. Rub in circles with an Applicator LOUIS XIII to fill the pores. Add wax or pumice powder if needed. Continue until the pores are filled sufficiently. Let dry for 4 hours. Then level the surface with a new applicator soaked in Polish Thinner. Let dry for 1 hour and  lightly brush afterwards with Steel Wool LOUIS XIII N° 0000.

2- Finish :

Apply a coat of The Antiquarian's Patina AVEL with a Cloth. Let dry for 4 hours, then shine with a wool Cloth. The wood is protected and shiny and gives off a natural turpentine scent.
