But there are other more simple solutions with 2 types of products:
- TOLEMAIL Gilt Paint for large surfaces. This is a professional paint giving a perfect result due to its very specialized formula.
or
- Gilding Varnish LOUIS XIII, which has great covering power and gives a beautiful shine without trace of brush stroke thanks to its extreme fluidity. To add more depth and sheen to a new support, apply first a coat of Red Gilding Primer LOUIS XIII (choose amongst the colours of the Gilding Varnish).
Once the coat of primer is dry, shake the bottle of Gilding Varnish LOUIS XIII to homogenize the content and apply with a soft Brush. Available in the following shades: gold, rich gold, pale gold, antique gold and bronze.
Afterwards, use the Gilding Wax to patinate the Gilding Varnish.
