Taking Care of Car Leather

To begin with, make sure that your leather is clean and that all traces of grease have been eliminated, by using the Cleaning Regenerating Soap AVEL (like washing your hands before applying a cream). If necessary, eliminate sebum with the help of the Stain Remover HUSSARD Spray Leather and Textile.

Afterwards, for an exceptional longevity of your leather, Valmour proposes several products based on mink oil and beeswax, to protect your leather against dryness and revive its colour. These products renovate the leather by nourishing it, eliminate scratches and help prevent tearing of stitches and the toughening of leather. Some of the products also have light re-colouring power.

Choose between a liquid, a paste, a wax and a cream:

1- The Liquid Renovating Balm AVEL cleans, nourishes, protects but also re-colours. Available in 18 shades. Its presentation makes it the product most easy to use. Also available for mat leather (see below).

2- The Renovating Balm Paste AVEL cleans, nourishes and protects. Available in neutral only.

3- The Leather Care Wax Spray AVEL cleans and nourishes. Very practical for braided or perforated leather.

4- The Cream Renovator AVEL cleans, nourishes, protects, and re-colours. Available in 20 shades. Product with the strongest re-colouring power due to a pigment-enriched presentation.

Remarks:

- Afterwards, shine with a Shining Glove VALMOUR.

- To finish, we strongly recommend to protect your leather with the Anti-Stain Leather Spray AVEL against foods stains, deposit of sebum on the headrest and dirt.

- If your leather is not discoloured, choose one of these colours in neutral.

- If you want to refreshen the colour of your leather, and in case of light discoloration, choose the Liquid Renovating Balm AVEL or the Renovating Cream AVEL in the corresponding colour.

- In case of deep scratches, use the Shoe Polish Renovating Cream SAPHIR.
