Stripping Waxed Furniture

To recover the raw wood, Valmour recommends the following 3 steps :

1- Soak Steel Wool LOUIS XIII N° 2 or 0 with Stripper LOUIS XIII. Rub the wood evenly and wipe with a Non fluffy Cloth. Thanks to its formula based on poppy oil, the Stripper LOUIS XIII gives back to the wood its original natural appearance while conserving the patina.

2- Afterwards, generously apply Wood Cabinet Stripper LOUIS XIII with a Brush. Let it work for 15-20 minutes, then remove the product with a Coating Knife from flat surfaces and with the Steel Wool LOUIS XIII N°2 from mouldings. Renew the operation if necessary.

3- Rinse the surface with Steel Wool LOUIS XIII N° 2 soaked in Wax Remover LOUIS XIII to eliminate any stripper residue. Sand with Glass Paper (120 or 180) and dust off.
