Valmour suggests the following 2 solutions for staining a piece of furniture:
1 - The easy way: the Woodwork Stain LOUIS XIII is the ideal product to stain wood in warm and natural tones. Easy application with Cotton Wick LOUIS XIII or with a flat and supple Brush. Finish by lighly sanding with Steel Wool LOUIS XIII N° 0000. It is possible to mix the various shades. Quick drying.
2 - The most economical :
Nut Husk LOUIS XIII is a wood stain used extensively by the professionals. All the variations of walnut and oak shades can be obtained by simply diluting with water. Apply evenly with Cotton Wick LOUIS XIII or with a large Brush. After application of one or two coats, let dry for approx 6 hours, then finish by lighly sanding with Steel Wool LOUIS XIII N°0000. To obtain more original shades which don't correspond to natural shades of wood (corn yellow, mediterranean blue etc...), use Woodwork Stain LOUIS XIII.
Afterwards, apply Insulating Wood Finish LOUIS XIII in all cases for fixing the wood stain and for protection.
