Sealed Wooden Floor Care

Regular care for a sealed/varnished wooden floor consists essentially in using a cleaning product. To begin with, Valmour recommends to carefully wash the floor with Real Black Soap LOUIS XIII with linseed oil. Afterwards, apply a fine coat of Wax Polish LOUIS XIII, which is optional but allows to increase the mechanical resistance by depositing wax on the surface. It also gives a pleasant scent of turpentine.

Another practical solution for floors submitted to intensive use :

To make your varnish/sealing last longer, Valmour recommends the use of Varnishing Emulsion Wood Floors AVEL to embellish and to reinforce its protection, and to use MetallicWax Shampoo AVEL for regular cleaning.
This emulsion is ideal for sealed wooden floors starting to whiten because of intensive friction.
