Once a sealed/varnished floor shows signs of wear, it becomes necessary at one point to sand it down to the raw wood and to re-varnish/seal it. This being very tedious work, Valmour proposes another more modern and efficient solution to renovate your worn varnished/sealed floor without having to sand it:
1 - Cleaning :
First of all, take the precaution to thoroughly clean your wood floor with the Wax Remover LOUIS XIII, in in particular if your floor is very dirty.
2 - Renovation :
Afterwards, apply one or two coats of Varnishing Emulsion Wood Floors AVEL. The second coat will increase the shine.
Before the first application , it is recommended to prepare the floor withe the Emulsion Stripper to neutralize its Ph and thereby make the emulsion "take hold" perfectly.
3 - Care :
For usual care, use the Metallic Wax Shampoo Wood Floors AVEL, pure ore diluted, which permits to wash your floor whenever necessary while strenthening the emulsion instead of damaging it like classic detergents.
