AdviceMat Leather CareTo begin with, make sure that your leather is clean and that all traces of grease have been eliminated, by using the Cleaning Regenerating Soap AVEL (like washing your hands before applying a cream). Avoid the use of Marseille Soap because of its high caustic soda content, to the contrary of the Cleaning Regenerating Soap which has been developed specifically for leather care with the participation of the Technical Center for Leather.
Afterwards, to prolong the life of your leather by protecting it against dryness, Valmour proposes a specific balm to care for mat leather: the Mat Leather Balm AVEL.
