To care for a leather desk or desk-blotter with gilt decorations, which are generally situated around the edges, Valmour recommends to proceed as follows:

1- Begin by applying the Cleaning Regenerating Soap. This excellent product has been formulated for leather and allows to eliminate most of the dirt situated on the gildings. Its solvent-free formula is not dangerous for the gildings and very beneficial to the leather: overflow is no problem.

2- If that isn't sufficient, it is possible afterwards to use the Gilt Cleaner below. we recommend to test the product before on a hidden part, and to apply it with a q-tip with caution and without overflowing onto the leather.

 Afterwards, finish by using the Cleaning Regenerating Soap and the Renovating Balm Liquid.
