AdviceHow to get rid of Lice
Valmour does not treat the individual person, but proposes, in complement to the physical treatment (hair and body) a treatment of the bedroom and other rooms concerned by the infestation of lice.
Valmour recommends a shock action (1) and a long term treatment (2):
1 - We recommend a shock treatment with one of the following 3 products: - Smoke Insecticide ORKA : active smoke after lighting a fuse, treatment for approx. 60 m2 - Fumigator Insecticide PROFYR : mist without combustion, treatment for approx. 100 m2 - Auto-Destroyer ORKA : spray for one-time use, treatement for approx 40 - 80 m2
These three treatments are radical on all lice in contact with the product, while leaving a residue when settling which allows long-term efficiency. Remove your sheets before the treatment and wash at 60 °C.
2 - It is necessary, however, to complete the treatment with the help of the NOXIDE Vaporizer. This essential treatment is complementary to the sprays or smokes and will allow you to thoroughly treat the floors and the bedding. Don't forget to turn your mattresses to treat all sides. Its liquid formula is also perfectly adapted to treat wooden floors and carpets where lice can hide. Average use approx. 20 m2/litre.
For professionals or if you need to treat important surfaces, replace the Vaporizer with the NOXIDE Concentrate. Diluted in 4,5 litres of water, you will obtain 5 litres of an extra powerful ready to use insecticide to be sprayed with a Duster below. Available in 500 ml and 5 l. Average use approx. 20 m2/litre.
Remarks:
Often, it is necessary to repeat the treatment after a few days to eliminate the lice which might have escaped the previous treatment. The ideal procedure is to use a different shock treatment than before to benefit of the complementary action of these products.
