To polish a piece of furniture, we propose the following 2 methods :
- Traditional Method :
1- Surface preparation: to recover the raw wood, remove the wax from waxed furniture with Wax Remover LOUIS XIII or strip varnished furniture with Wood Cabinet Stripper LOUIS XIII. To stain, apply Woodwork Stain LOUIS XIII .
2- Wood protection and fixing of the stain: apply Insulating Wood Finish LOUIS XIII. This product protects against stains, fixes the tint and prepares the surface for the application of polish, which is to be applied on raw wood, tinted or not depending on your choice.
3- Polish your piece of furniture with Tinting Polish LOUIS XIII (liquid or paste). The prior application of Patina Gum Lacquer will considerably improve the result by enhancing the wood grain, reinforcing the protection and reducing the wax quantity necessery for the waxed-patinated effect.
- Modern Method :
It is possible to carry out all of the above operations with only one product.
- for surfaces exposed to stains (kitchens, coffee tables, doors etc...), use Anti-Spot Wood Stain AVEL which tints, waxes and confers an anti-stain protection in one operation. Odourless, easy application, quick drying. Neutral color.
- for other surfaces, use COLORECIR to stain and wax in one operation.
