Eliminating White Stains on Terracotta

Newly laid or old terracotta tiles frequently show white veils which are risings of cement, lime, calcium, saltpetre and are often difficult to eliminate. Valmour proposes 2 products for 2 different cases :

 

- for white veils linked to the pointing, choose the Acid Based Remover LOUIS XIII and apply after the laying. Extra powerful, this product also eliminates rust and oil while preserving the joints because it does not contain hydrochloric acid.

 

For resistant white veils, or the recurring problems of saltpetre or humidity, choose the White Stain Eliminator LOUIS XIII. Its exclusive acid-free formula eliminates the white marks and nourishes the floor tiles in depth. it is recommended for terracotta and red tiles because it intensifies their shade. This product can be used for regular cleaning if the the white veils persist.
Apply on a clean, dry and grease-less floor, after treatment with the Wax and Dirt Remover LOUIS XIII for example.
