Scratches and cracks on leather car seats can be removed or softened. First, make sure that your leather is completely clean and grease-free with the help of the Cleaning Regenerating Soap AVEL. VALMOUR recommends several products, choose according to the following cases :
1- If the scratches are superficial, apply one of the balms listed below, which we propose in 4 versions (liquid, paste, wax and cream according to your preference) :
- The Renovating Balm Liquid AVEL cleans, nourishes, protects but also re-colours. Available in 18 shades. The easiest product to use.
- The Renovating Balm Paste AVEL cleans, nourishes and protects. Available in neutral only.
-The Leather Care Wax Spray AVEL cleans and nourishes your leather. Very practical for braided or perforated leather.
- The Cream Renovator AVEL cleans, nourishes, protects, and re-colours. Available in 20 shades. It has the most re-colouring power.
Based on mink oil and beeswax, these products renovate and nourish the leather, eliminate scratches and cracks and avoid tearing of the stitching and toughening of the leather.
2- In case of deeper (but not too numerous) scratches leaving the leather bare, opt for the Renovating Cream Saphir. It is a very covering concentrate of pigments, ideal for a localized touch-up.
3- In case of many deep scratches, choose the Pigmenting Cream AVEL and its Fixing Spray which re-pigments your leather in-depth, as if it were new. This method is more expensive but gives fantastic results. The colour of the dye can be made-to-order.
Afterwards, we strongly recommend to protect your leather regularly with the Anti-Stain Leather Spray AVEL against foods stains, sebum deposit on headrests and dirt.
