AdviceCopper CareTo care for your copper objects, Valmour proposes several products:
- Eau Fortis LOUIS XIII and Copper Deoxidizer LOUIS XIII are very powerful deoxidizing products. Afterwards, use MECANO Copper Cleaner LOUIS XIII below to shine. In case of light oxidation, opt for MECANO Copper Cleaner from the beginning.
- MECANO Metal Cleaner LOUIS XIII is a very efficient traditional product which gives an incomparable shine after rubbing and the longest-lasting result. Available in various packaging sizes: 125, 250, 500 ml and 1 litre.
- Polishing Putty LOUIS XIII and AVEL Copper, Brass, Bronze Cleaner are very easy to use products, and already efficient by simple contact. Odourless, no dirty hands. Packaging 250 ml.
- Mouss'ORKA Copper Brass Bronze Cleaner is also very efficient without effort and easy to use with a sponge for application included in the packaging. Odourless, no dirty hands. Small packaging of 125 ml.
Afterwards, shine with a Chamois Cotton Cloth. For longer lasting protection of your objects, use Varnish CRISTAL LOUIS XIII.
In short: if your copper is very oxidized, use one of the first 2 products to start with. For maintenace, choose either MECANO for superior degree of shine and last, or the following 2 products for their easy but efficient use.
Remarks : it is possible to increase the protection of your metal items by applying a varnish. We propose:
