Cleaning Your Shoes

Cleaning is part of the necessary care you give your shoes. Depending on their use and the products which you use, it might become necessary to clean the leather pores.
Dirtiness, surplus of wax, and sometimes even of resin or silicone (which should be avoided, however), prevent efficient care. Remove the maximum with a cloth or a sponge moisturized with lukewarm water. Brush off any remaining deposit from the welt to prevent any alteration of the topstitching, with the help of the Brush Spatula Saphir Gold Medal Small Model.
Afterwards, Valmour proposes the following three products :
1) The Rénomat Saphir permits to remove any stains, renovate and clean all smooth leathers.
2) For shoes which are not very dirty, use our Lotion Médaille d'Or based on beeswax and mink oil.
